How does the drivers side exterior door handle remove on a BMW 328is?

The drivers side exterior door handle is not hooked up to anything at all.
The door will not open. I have the door panel off but I can’t see how to remove that handle due to the window glass is in the way. Do you have to remove the window glass and regulator? From what I can see, it does not look easy to get to without glass removal. Any tips would be great.

    You have to take it all out unfortunately. Sorry.

    Be careful with the windows motor, very finicky
