I am looking for the lightweight aluminum grille you can put on your sliding glass doors to make them look like a french door- door with paynes? Any idea where you can buy such a thing?

You could add lead tape to create the panes

    or use this

You could spend some time googling it.
Perhaps a large hope store would have something like that. (Home depot, lowe’s)
Why not just tape the glass to look like panes?
I did that several years ago with my large picture window. I used black electrical tape diagonally to look like diamond panes

You could go buy some thin moulding at Lowes and then cut it out to simulate the pane look of a french door and glue it to the glass. Maybe silicone.
Make sure it is thin enough to be able to slide the door open and not stand out so far past the frame of the sliders.
