use screws…sorry I couldn’t help it. You will damage the door either way or it will fall off

Depending on how heavy it is, you can by the hook type that have a sticky part on the back and when you remove it, it will not peel the paint, though one of mine did.
I believe it is either 3M brand or by Scotch Guard???
Look in your local home improvement store and Walmart carry them also.
When purchasing them, make sure you check how much weight it can hold.

well first if the door is hollow then you cant put nails or screws cause there is nothing for them to grab they cant support the weight depending on how heavy it is and what the frame looks like on the back you can glue it with maybe any kind of construction adhesive but you will not be able to take it off if it is a wood frame you can nail hooks and put wires on then you can buy a hook that hooks over top of the door to hang the mirror i hope this helps

Buy some liquid nail squirt it on and stick it to the door.
