Signs that it was the next door neighbor that burglarized your home?

We’ve been recently burglarized and we strongly suspect it was the next door neighbor because the opposite side neighbor from the back yard said the man from next door was sitting on our back door porch the time we were away.

We also strongly suspect the burglars escaped from the third floor window to the roof and possibly to “go back home”.
Anyone that has been burglarized from your neighboor? What are the signs? I lost my ipod and I have been looking around to see if they would use my ipod.
We also lost cash, jewleries, small knife, and among other things. We are home owners and they are just renters.
Thanks.

That’s tough to answer. My husband and I own our home next to a rental property to some “questionable characters” too. When in doubt, put up security cameras, talk loudly about an upcoming vacation and a brand monitor…catch em red handed. If not, you at least have the peace of mind of a camera. Take care.

I prevent burglaries by keeping my neighbors in fear, occasionally i just stomp the **** out of one of them for no reason, but I make sure I do it in front of all of them,
If one of acts tough I shove a .40 Cal in their face and make them beg me not to end them right there,
little rough around the holidays, but keeps my crap where it belongs, in my possession.
Sorry I live in a real rough neighborhood, judge me if you want but I still have my Nintendo Wii…
