How do I get the passenger door on my 1994 Acura Integra to unlock?

After a visit from a door-slammer (hard enough to make my ears ring), the passenger door on my 2-door 1994 Integra will not unlock. I have tried using the power lock buttons on both sides, the handle, the lock button, the key on both doors. All of these things lock and unlock the driver-side door, but not the passenger-side door. I tried jiggling the handle on the outside, jarring the door, pushing it in, everything but using enough force to break off the key or the button. I’m currently living overseas. Thanks.

Get a door cover remover at a dollar store or equivelent . Look, after removing iner door panel,reconnect what camw lose. Keep th tool good for looking like a knight inshing armour. Simple solutiom but most sleep through that class

Most power locks work using an electric current to push the plunger up and down to lock and unlock it. If it just happened all at once the electrical connection may have come unplugged, You may need to take the inside panel of the door off and see if it’s plugged in. If it is plugged in, then your plunger/piston may have gone bad.
Basically it’s a simple system of electric triggers a switch that pushed the lock mechanism up and down. you have three components: electric supply, electric connection, and operational piston. One is out of order. Check the connection first.

Anyway, it sounds like either the rod is jammed or the clip is broken.
It is jammed if you can’t move the lock button manually. If it moves freely without much resistence, then the clip is probably broken.
Either way, you’re stuck…no pun intended.
You’re going to have to remove the door panel while the door is closed. This is not an easy thing to do sometimes.
Once you get the door panel off, you can look at the mechanism itself and see what’s happening. Follow the rod from the button to the latch and try to see if it’s binding up somewhere or if it became disconnected.
Try to move the rod with your hand to see if you can free it up.
You can move the lock lever on the latch with your hand to unlock it. Then you can leave it like that until you can get it fixed.
If you want to be bold, and don’t care too much about scratches or dents you can try prying on the door while turning the key. Put some cushion like a towel and some wood on the left of the door crease and put a flat prying tool in the crease like a crowbar or something. You can try a large screwdriver, but I don’t think it’s going to be big enough. Try prying gently on the lip while unlocking the door.
What probably happened is when the door was slammed, it moved the metal post that the latch closes on and jammed everything. You might have to adjust that once you get the door opened. It just loosens like a bolt so you can move it around. Usually it’s too tight to use the torx head, allen head or whatever the manufacturer used to tighten it. Vice grips work fine in this case.
If you’re overseas, use to buy any parts. Those guys are awesome. Cheap, fast, and ships to APO.

I would take it to the repair shop.
It sounds like if they’re power locks, it could be something electrical. It could also be something mechanical jarred and locked in place somehow.
You can ask the repair place how much it will cost. Usually they have to call you after they find out what it is, though, so they can give you an estimate.
I hate dealing with repair shops, but my car is in the shop right now, and I’m glad I took it in, so they can fix it.
