I had my door accidentaly locked from the inside. I have a door were you twist something to lock it. The outside handle has a hole in it. How do I open this door? Do I insert something in the holle to open it? If so what should I do then? Please help.

try sticking a bobby pin in there and moving it around.

There is probably a screw there. You could probably get a screwdriver in there and just take to doorknob out.

if it is a bathroom toe of door with just a hole in the midle of the outside door knob you can use anything and poke it straight in there even a coat hanger. or if it isnt that kind use a butter knife and slid it btween the jam and the door and press the metal by the striker and push it back in and twist the knob at the same time and it should open

You might have to take the door off the hinges.
If you have a window going into the room and it’s open, you could go through the window to unlock the door.

If you have a hole in the door knob, try a long strong thin item to stick through the hole to pop the lock. The hole may be on the side also.

It’s very easy if you have the right tool, and you don’t have to take your door or anything else apart.
You need a small flat-head screwdriver. Or something similar. Stick it in the whole until you find the back of the lock. The screwdriver will fit into it and you can turn it and unlock the door. If you can’t find a screwdriver like that, you might try something similar. A wire that has had its end flattned slightly somehow might work.

if its the same type of door i’m thinking about,
    you use a small screwdriver.
push it straight in the hole till you feel the release then turn it slowly til it engages.
then turn left. if it turns, open the door.
if it doesnt turn left, turn to the right & open the door.
