How do you fix a door on a 1998 Toyota Camry?

A couple weeks ago but passanger side front door stopped opening from the outside. Either the lock is stuck in the lock position or the handle broken inside to door. I can open the door from the inside, and the power look switched on the inside, but the outer handle does nothing.

You need to take off the inner panel and check the handle mechanism.

take out all the screws and remove the inside door panel ,then look inside the door and while looking lift up on the outside door handle.the rod that goes from the handle to your latch.look at it if everything looks ok it would be your latch.
but pro-bally the outside door handle is broken.
