One of the remotes to my garage door was stolen. Need to reprogram other remotes with new code?

Angela L asked:

I have a Craftsman Door Opener 1/2HP 139.53973srt. Since there are no dipswitches on the Door Opener when I press the SRT button does it send out the same signal code to the new remotes or does it keep the old code?
By resetting the remotes does it give them a new code or is it the same code? I just don’t want someone with my old remote opening my door.

First, because your remote got stolen. Press and hold in the learn button until the light above goes out. All previous codes are now erased. Press the learn button on the motor side so that the light goes on. Within 30 seconds press the remote button and hold it until the lights blink or there is a double click sound.

Please just check if it is the same unit as yours before you start on the link below.
