It is a tuner. It has some electronic notes in it as a reference for tuning the guitar. He is letting the guitar feedback then pressing that thing on the tuner to get those weird notes to seem in between the feedback. I think.

it’s a 330 Rickenbacker just the six string version
good luck getting one though, they’re the hardest things to get on the planet right now. unless you have like 5G

PLEASE, somebody tell me what that weirdo, pedal/loop thing is that Guy is playing with (starting around 4:10) and where can I get one? Also, does anybody know where I can get my hands on one of those awesome Park amps?

one thing i really like about this clip in particular is when the guitars and vocals stop u see what actually drives this song. the bass and drums work perfectly then the guitars come in to push the song into beoynd amazing

I think both, are pretty influentual. But i agree Fugazi have played a more important role than ATD-I

What I love about Ian is hes from the hardcore punk movement, so everything he does is full of emotion. These guys are fucking amazing performers and musicians.

No offence but fugazi and ATDI don’t even belong in the same sentence. fugazi are total pioneers. Their history reads as a Who’s Who of American punk rock.
