    i love bob’s version it’s so harmonic and really good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…
    i don’t like guns and roses but their version is good…not as good as this but it’s ok….

    Dylan sings it that way on MTV Unplugged, but I couldn’t say whether it is the original lyrics or something he added for that concert

    Absolutely right.. in that way, the MTV Unplugged version is better.. but this version is great singing with the harmonies and all. 5 stars

    hehe. i’m on the exact other side. I’m not a big Bob Dylan fan, but I prefer and love all the cover versions of his songs. i do get a lot of crap from my parents about that, coz they’re die-hard dylan fans. haha.

    Yes, Ruth did well; but Bob made this song for a movie on Billie the Kid .. but it became the ultimate statement on the Vietnam War. In my opinion none of the covers come close to the original.
