the meaning of this song is actually quite simple. with regina spektor, you really have to listen and think about her lyrics (which is why i love her =]]). this song’s about a boy, who over night, commits ******* in the towns pond (“And wade midway into that porrige just him and his secret he was keepin) there’s a legend in the town that if you stay under long enough, youll have an ‘orgasmic’ experience(dreaming that the antidote was orgasm) but the kid stays under too long, killing himself.
