How many front door locks are required for apartments?

I live in Maine in an apartment. Our only lock on our front door is one of the ones you push in the little button to lock it. To break in all you have to do is unscrew this little thing on the outside of the door and slide a card in. (we’ve had to do it once)

And that scares me.
I just read somewhere that it’s required by law that there are three locks (doorknob or handle lock, deadbolt and chain/lever). Is that true?

Probably only one, if you’re lucky!
